A Cup of Coffee Lyrics
A Cup of Coffee
Jim Crozier
A cup of coffee, and it goes away,
That dreadful feeling at the break of day,
A heartfelt sigh as you try to say,
“I Love You”.
She knows you're gone, Nothing can be done,
To change the way that you're moving on.
Remembering that after all that fun,
You didn't stay.
But even now that your freedom's here,
You cannot even take the time to cry,
You hurt her bad, you know,
It hurts to be alone, you know.
And now you're free of her,
You'll never think of her, you know.
A cup of coffee, and it goes away,
That dreadful feeling at the end of the day,
A heartfelt sob, as you try to say,
“I Love You”.
No, you just can't say, “I Love You”. (slower)
